Ανοησίες ή όχι εξωπραγματικές;

Είναι αυτό απλώς απόλυτη ανοησία ή απλά δεν είναι δυνατό σήμερα λόγω διαφόρων μηχανισμών ασφαλείας και εποπτικών αρχών ή είναι «ποτέ μη λες ποτέ»;

Συγγνώμη για αυτήν την λίγο-πολύ περίεργη ερώτηση, αλλά ίσως κάποιος έχει ακόμα κάτι να πει για αυτό... 😉

Πολλές ευχές

Hello there,

I believe that every player had asked such a question occasionally. 🙂

I find it handy to start with how slot machines and the math behind them work - read the article here.:

It's vital to say some casinos offer fake games, meaning the games are NOT provided by the game provider's servers, we are talking about casinos with a bad reputation and probably without a license.

So it's important to pick a casino carefully.

The other point of view is mainly bound to the RTP and the probability of success while playing slots:

"Payout ratio (also known as expected return, payout percentage or RTP – return to player) of a game of chance is the long-term statistical rate of total money won divided by the total money staked. The opposite of the payout ratio is the house edge. The house edge is calculated as 100% minus payout ratio. If the payout ratio is 95% then the house edge is 100% – 95% = 5%."

So, the house edge is the reason why the casinos always win in the long term - especially when it comes to slots. There are some sort of strategies for how to beat slots (article here), or let's say, win bigger soon or lose all very soon 🙂.

It's also honest to say, that some game providers allow casinos to set the RTP separately, it just doesn't mean that your gameplay is constantly monitored and the moment you hit a bigger win, someone from the casino hits the button and lowers your RTP in real time - this is not how it works.

Some slots just may have their RTP lowered in comparison to the same slot game offered in a different casino.

If I may add, always check the RTP and volatility (if possible), you can check the game in our free games library and then alter your play style. I'd say the first measure I'd look at is the RTP. With higher RTP, your chances of winning are higher. Anything above 96% RTP is good.

Don't play the game when you don't like it even when the RTP is nice. Another point to consider is volatility. When slots have low volatility, it means you win a lot, but the winnings are rather low and often lower than your initial bet. Slots with high volatility can have over 50 dead spins, but when you finally win, you usually win more than you lost or you win a bit less, but you still win a huge part of your losses back.

Hope it helps a bit 🙂
