Hi everyone,

I am looking to gather information and start a discussion here regarding some inconsistencies I've noticed with Wild.io’s "Welcome Bonus Restricted Countries" list.

I am currently disputing a $13,378 withdrawal. I have strong suspicions that the casino may be manually updating their restricted country list to target high-value winners. Specifically, it appears there are indications that "Austria" was recently removed from the list and replaced with "Japan"—potentially as a targeted change following my win.

I’m hoping to hear from others in this thread who might have experienced something similar.

Please share your experiences below if:

Austrian players: Have you noticed that you are suddenly no longer restricted from claiming bonuses that were previously blocked?

Japanese players: Have you recently had winnings confiscated due to this restriction, despite having no such issues earlier this year?

Any players: Have you experienced a situation where a "restricted country" rule seemed to appear only after you completed a Video KYC or requested a large withdrawal?

I am trying to determine if this is a recurring pattern, as similar issues were discussed by the community back in 2023. Please post your findings or any similar experiences directly in this thread so we can compare notes and bring more transparency to this issue.

Thank you for your help.

I would like to alert the community about a site that might not be on everyone's radar yet: Wolf.io.

If you visit the site, you will immediately notice that it is almost a carbon copy of Wild.io. I am currently in the process of gathering evidence regarding the relationship between these two platforms. If anyone has information on whether they are economically linked or managed by the same group, please share your insights here.

For those considering playing at Wolf.io, please exercise extreme caution. Based on numerous complaints from 2023, Wild.io has a very high probability of retroactively manipulating "Welcome Bonus" terms to disqualify high-value winners. I suspect many players were forced to "give up" their winnings in the past because they fell into this trap.

The technical issue to watch out for:

No Timestamps: Unlike their general terms, the Welcome Bonus pages often lack a "Last Updated" date.

JavaScript Obfuscation: The terms are rendered via JavaScript. This makes it nearly impossible for a user to gather evidence of a retroactive change after a dispute has started, unless they had the foresight to take screenshots beforehand.

I believe this "dark zone" in the Welcome Bonus terms is being used to "swap" rules silently once a player wins big. If you are playing on either of these sites, take screenshots of the terms every single day.

If you have any information about the connection between Wild.io and Wolf.io, or if you have experienced similar "post-win" rule changes, please post your findings in this thread.

Hello, I feel those posts are mainly meant for a community, so I have just one question regarding the disputed amount you mentioned: from that information, I could not determine what kind of problem you are facing with the funds. So, if you do not mind, could you explain that dispute in more detail?

By the nature of the question, I guess it has something to do with the list of restricted countries being updated or changed, but I lack the full context here.

Furthermore, can you add the full casino URL, please? You see, fake clones are sadly quite common, so we may potentially avoid wrong assumptions by comparing the official casinos' websites.

Thank you.

Thank you for your reply, Radka.

I have just submitted my latest counter-argument through the complaint channel, but it may not be public yet. To clarify, the dispute is regarding the restricted country list.

My main point is that Japan was not among the restricted countries for the welcome bonus at the time I was playing. Their system includes timestamps for the General Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) and the General Bonus T&Cs, making it easy to find archived versions via Google search.

However, the Welcome Bonus T&Cs do not have a timestamp, and they appear to have been edited silently. Tracking the historical data for that specific section via Java is extremely difficult. Wildio uses multiple independent T&C pages, which leaves room for them to modify the Welcome Bonus terms for new users without it being noticed.

I have multiple pieces of objective evidence to support my claim:

System Logic: If Japan were truly an excluded country, the system should have blocked the bonus code. The fact that I was able to successfully claim and receive the bonus proves that Japan was eligible at that time.

UI Comparison: Other casino sites using the same UI list "Austria" instead of "Japan" as a restricted country, which further supports my case.

Radka, please note that I am not recommending the site below. If Wildio and Wolfio are operated by the same team, it is worth noting that between 2023 and 2024, Wildio had a history of confiscating winnings from many users worldwide by retroactively changing their terms.

The connection with Wildio is still unconfirmed, and I would like to share information with any experts who might be knowledgeable on this matter.

Hello, thank you too. So in other words, the matter is about applying restrictions retroactively, which, of course, sounds problematic.

In those cases, it all depends on the ability to prove what actual terms were applied at the moment the bonus was taken, just as mentioned in the complaint. It would be great to provide some screenshots of those rules. There are also tools to track where actual terms were changed on the website, but those do not always work very well, so we depend on direct proof from the players.

Just some honest advice if I may: I understand that you see clear patterns or have other opinions, but just please do not present that general information as proof in the complaint, because your situation only involves your bonus and this one particular website. Therefore, you were specifically asked for this. Nothing else will do the trick if you catch my drift. If there are no current similar complaints from players, your complaint is not about finding casino mechanics or patterns from the past. The point is to gather proof of what you claim regarding your bonus and, based on that, ask the casino for their perspective to proceed further.

Do not worry, please. I understand you are not recommending the wolf.io website; I'm just pointing out some intriguing similarities found. I get it. 👌

The website is already under review; the owner/operator has not been identified yet, though.

Unfortunately, I do not have a screenshot of the Welcome Bonus offer at the time of my play. I did not expect Wildio to act in this manner, especially since I had carefully reviewed both the General Terms and Conditions (GTC) and the Bonus Terms, and Japan was definitely not listed as an excluded country.

While I lack the screenshot, it is highly improbable that Japan was excluded at that time. I make it a strict habit to check the promotion-specific terms, including wagering requirements and general rules, before playing.

Furthermore, it is illogical that a bonus code would remain functional if the country were truly restricted. I am also aware of evidence from 2023–2024 regarding similar complaints against Wildio, where the company was found to have retroactively changed its terms and conditions.

Very few users take screenshots of every single page and term before playing. I ask that you evaluate this situation holistically based on these points.

I understand that, of course.

Imagine the complaint from our perspective for a sec: How to challenge the casino based on "it is highly improbable"?

What you describe with the code makes sense from your perspective; however, it is usually an automatic technical platform setup, which is not always conclusive.

So, let's wait for the mediators to proceed further. The way I saw the request for specific proofs, posted in the complaint, I dare not speculate. Complaints are a proof-based feature.

In such cases, we have to prove when exactly and under what specific conditions the bonus was taken.
