Has anyone got any advice on how to obtain a refund or compensation from Velobet for them allowing you to continue gambling after self-excluding with them? They are claiming because I never put a self-exclusion in writing that they didn't need to uphold it... even though I had told my VIP manager over the phone when they called me unsolicited to make sure I was permanently banned from Velobet and I never wanted to gamble with them again. There's literally nothing in their T&C that says it has to be an email or via the live chat. Just that it has to be told to their customer service, which I did.

Is court action the only way? Has anyone had any success with that? Has anyone complained to Curacao gaming authorities and got anywhere with it?

but if you look at the transactions and IP address you can prove it wasn’t you that made the deposits or set up the payments. MBNA have reviewed mine and 90 % of chargebacks were successful- the other 10% they’ve treated as fraud due to the obvious fake receipts and false IP Addresses. It’s actually better for us if they send fake receipts because it just shows how dodgy they are.

It depends on your bank, I had chargebacks for sakari and they provided fake receipts with the wrong IP address etc but my bank sided with them despite that 😂

when raising chargebacks with MBNA did you just put them through the app or did you speak to someone?


I’ve raised several and nothing has happened and it’s so frustrating.


Also what did you say to them to make the chargebacks go through?
