for me I don’t want to show my banking information here it’s more you said you are willing to pay I wouldn’t take money upfront only when you get your refuse because am 100% sure you will as I did. It’s more making a contract or something so I don’t get left in the dirty once you get your money

NatWest have told me that it’s up to the merchant what they put down as a descriptor and they don’t have to show their name on the bank statement.
They cannot tell me the name or contact info unless I raise a dispute with them for the transactions but they tell you not to raise a dispute as it can be classed as fraud.
Ive tried to get access to Mastercard Merchant Identifier API with no luck.
I feel like it’s always a battle but for the criminals it’s so easy for them to steal your money
