Yes, I have noticed that only after I had won $10K, two months in a row last December & January. Since then the system I had been winning large bets such as $180, $400 & $880, hasn't been winning & the casino has been getting their money back.

From the start, I believed the casino didn't rig its play fearing losing its license. However, I'm beginning to think otherwise because my system hasn't been winning as it has in real money play. In demo play, it continues to win. I feel like I've been marked by the casino as a threat. I'm certain there are many players who are winning way more than $10K month after month. Since I don't know who they are, I'm just surmising.

Because of this, I have been placing smaller base bets such as $1 to $10, & I don't want to give back all that I have won.

My initial goal, when I started, was $50 a day. After a few days, I went to three sessions a day, still with a target of $50. A few days later, I went to $100, three sessions a day. After 13 days from starting, I was winning over $400 a session. After 55 days I had won $21,075. or a net win of $17,964. The difference is my bankroll, which was $611 the first month & $2500 the next. I haven't been able to duplicate it since.

I've noticed that $50 sessions take longer because of smaller bets, however, when I bump my base up like before, I start losing. It's like I've been limited to winning smaller wins. Of course, I have no proof. All I know is things have changed.

Your story is already a confirmation of conjectures. It probably makes sense to get 50 a day and it will be more stable and unlikely to cause you a gambling addiction if you are sensible about it.

I agree with you, now that I have experienced what happens when I increase my bets especially when my bankroll doesn't support the higher bet & .50 & $1 units is rather slow compared to when I had won over $17k net over 55 Days. The algorithm knows that three losses will do me in & it always have.

What I'm planning is going to a casino 20 mins away in Washington state. I have a physical American roulette wheel, which is what's offered here & my systems produces consistent wins.

I usually play everyday & going to the casino isn't convenient, but losing isn't convenient either.

I'm retired & have a $1785 pension less than my bills but not by much, so going to the casino everyday isn't an issue winning consistently is. There are lots of casinos but it's further away. I may need to have several in a rotation so I'm not going to one everyday. I'll figure something out. I'm intimidated going to a casino since I'm accustomed to not having strangers around, & most of my better systems calls for lots of chip placements & casinos don't have a rebet button, but the only way to get over my fear is to face it, because F.E.A.R.

I made it clear that I had no proof to back up my suspicion of what I had experienced. Friends who know that I have recently started online gambling, cautioned me because they knew I abhor gambling. It was curiosity about roulette that I learned that roulette was more than betting on a single number, which I thought was almost impossible to do. I found that two or more combination of bets can be made on a single spin, increasing the odds of winning.

Although friends have tried to convince me not to do it because of my obsessive personality, I still did it. Throughout my life, I used negative statements as a motivator, not because I wanted to say, I told you so. It was that I believed that I would succeed where others say I wouldn't. After my first 30 days, I had netted $9774. Friend's who with good intentions tried to talk me into not doing this said it was beginners luck. I didn't see it that way, & said I'll do it again. I did it in 25 days, because I started with $2500 rather than $611 the month before.

What did me in was, arrogance. Right after winning over $8,000 net. $10,690 with my initial $2500. I withdrew everything but $5,000. My goal was winning $5,000 in one session, which I have done over a dozen times in demo play.

I ended up losing $5,000. I attempted duplicating what I had done using the same method as the first two months, but the system I used was hitting on everything but what I needed & it started when I attempted that $5,000 one session win & continued doing so.

I'm just sharing what I had gone through. I don't doubt that people have posted lies, & readers can see it the way they choose to, but if proof is the only way for you or anyone who happen to read this want,

I'll see if the casino I've played on has a history. I figure they must because in the U.S. we need to report gambling winnings & losses to the IRS. If not, I'll be happy to show you my daily record I have that I've kept. I could even ask friends who have said I'll never win because majority of people don't, would be willing to verify my beginners luck. It up to you. Lemme know.

Cheers

I just think it's a bit of a wrong strategy to try to make money from gambling, even if you've found a good strategy. Because you can count on the money that you plan to earn, but in fact you will only go into the red.

I read your story and realized that you are retired and you do not have enough money. But there is always risk in gambling, and you need stability. I started to worry a little about you, I hope you are aware of the risks and take it responsibly.

It seems to me that even selling on Etsy is not that risky😂

I feel like playing casino games like blackjack or roulette is a completely different game when you compare the land-based casino experience vs. online casino experience. When it comes to slots, it's also necessary to say that online slots have generally higher RTP than the ones in land-based casinos.

I appreciate your concern, especially since we're practically strangers. Personally, I see strangers as unmet friends. Anyway, I'm 64 years old, & up until 2 years ago I abhorred gambling because I didn't like losing hard earned money over an outcome of an event I couldn't control. What changed? Not having a retirement plan. What I do receive doesn't cover my bills. Luckily it's not much more. This is insane, but I became curious as to why people gamble especially since majority end up losing. I found that there are a few that are successful gambling & they have losses too. I found that successful gamblers find an edge in having a game plan, systems with high winning percentages, setting realistic targets & stop losses but more importantly, discipline sticking with the game plan. I know I had these things covered otherwise there's no way I could've turned $611 into over $17K in 55 days. I had several big losses along the way. I started my 14th day with $3339. About 20 minutes later I ended the session at $3811. About 5 hours later, I ended my 2nd session at $4231. I had won $892 in less than an hour. About 5 hours later, same day, I got greedy & started a 3rd session & ended up losing $3294. My balance was now $937. I took the next 2 days off to figure out what went wrong. It was not having a stop loss, & greed. 5 days later which included my 2 off days, my balance was $5255. I had won $4318 in 12 sessions over 3 days. I had sessions where I lost over $1000, lost & won it back 3 times. That was before I had a stop loss in place. Even after having a stop loss, I had the same thing happen. I had no discipline. I was greedy & I couldn't keep my emotions under control.

Why? Because at 63 years old, I had just started gambling after not being interested at all. Right out of the gate & doing my homework, I was winning big for a beginner, after every friend said I will lose. 11 days later, 30 days from the start, spending 1.5 hours a day, 45 hours total, my balance was $10,385, a net profit of $9774. I had never made that kind of money in my life, $2172 an hour! The closest before that was in 1986-1988 when I earned $7000 a month working 60 hours a week, as Service Manager at the largest Ford Dealership in the state.

After my friends congratulated me & said I was lucky. I did it again, this time in 25 days. Starting with a bigger bankroll made it happen. But greed did me in. I was gonna win $5000 in one session. I didn't. Making matters worse, was as I was winning in my 2nd month, I was spending the money won in the 1st month.

What does my future look like? May two years ago, I was involved in a car crash at no fault of my own. My case is nearing the end & will be receiving a settlement of $30k but after my medical bills & attorney is paid, I'll be left with about $9000. This is probably the last windfall I can expect to have & I have proven to myself that I can win $10k in a month will lower my goal to $3000 a month. That's $100 per day. I have decided on starting with a $3000 bankroll. I Figure that with a higher base bet winning $100 could happen in 2 to 5 spins, compared to 10 or more spins with a base unit of .50 cents to a dollar

Kurt03, again, I appreciate your concern. Thank you. As you may have surmised, I am going forward with my plan. I will be the one who will live with the outcome of my decision, good or bad. My pension of $1785 a month isn't gonna cut it. $4785 will not only pay the bills, there will be enough left to have some fun until I face my maker. I have won $500-$1000 in a day. In my mind I believe I will win $100 in a day.

After all, "If it is to be, It's up to me.". & I make my own luck, by learning what I need to do to be successful before the first bet of the day. There are thousands of professional speculaters, I like that better than gamblers, out there. There's no reason I couldn't be one of them, except for stupidity, & I know I ain't stupid when it matters the most. Everyone who stuck around to read this, go out & make your own luck. Cheers!

Have you played live dealer roulette online?

What's your opinion on the difference between land based & online casinos, in terms of advantages?

What's your take about casinos rigging their games?

Are there ways of increasing your odds on slots other than what you have said?

I think it's hard to win playing slots.

I see your point. Then good luck, friend!

I've played live dealer roulette online. I've spent many years studying roulette. I even reached a point when I played with a group of people and our bet was 8000+ USD per SPIN in a land-based casino! I can only say that we played a system that seemed to work, but as we played it for a few weeks, we could see that it wasn't as bullet proof as we thought so we rather stopped.

I don't believe that the live dealer tables like the ones from Evolution, NetEnt, Ezugi, Authentic etc. are rigged. They don't need to be rigged. The mathematic advantage is on their side anyways. I worked in an online casino and I remember there was a player who won over 30 000 EUR multiple times per week. He was like, but our Live Casino manager was desperate, since of course, it decreased the casino's net profit. But there was no way to stop him, we just had to wait for the next day and see how he did during his night sessions 🙂 He eventually stopped winning, it just took some time.

I remember that when I played the roulette in a live casino, there was a session when the ball landed to "0" 8 times of 12 spins. We made a huge profit on it thanks to the strategy we had. Nobody stopped us and even though we won 7 times before, the ball landed on "0" even once again.

When it comes to slots, I suggest you to go through the articles we have here in the Slots category. You'll probably find a few tips there.

Kurt03, friend. After the few posts between us, I can say we're friends. I believe that going forward, you're gonna be interested how things are going on my end, because I would be if our roles were switched.

I signed the form accepting the counter offer from the insurance company of the person who rear-ended me 2 years ago. When I receive the money, I'll get back in the saddle. Only if you like, I'll send posts about how I'm doing. Can pictures be attached here? If yes, I'll attach pictures of my current balance of what I've won. I'll just post about losses.

FYI, I play on Betonline. Been in business 25+ years. Payout is fast with Bitcoin. I withdrew, $4000, $3000 & $3805 without a glitch.

I get my systems from YouTube, but I modify some aspect only if I feel it will increase the win percentage. If you have seen these systems on YouTube, the amount presented are to high for me, so I'll just lower it keeping the ratios consistent, especially if a system calls for multiple amounts like $20 on zero, $50 on three double streets, $50 on black & $50 on a column. It would be $10 & $25 for the rest. Going forward $25 would be $13, $7, $4.

Anyway, go make your own luck, friend.

Cheers

Daniel

Daniel, thx for your advice. I'll check into that slot link.

Being a newbie at roulette, heck newbie at gambling period. I've noticed what you said happened to that guy, has happened to me as well. A system that had won thousands aren't working as before? I feel that I've been targeted. I'm on another system that, in practice is a winner. I'll try that other one later.

After understanding the rules of roulette, I became interested after I learned that combination of bets can be made in a single bet. My problem was I did know how to design a system. I get my systems from YouTube, but I have modified it if I felt it will raise the winning percentage. Then I call it my system, it is sort of.

Slots? Now that's where I believe that it's a losing proposition. However, I have an open mind & always get facts on anything that is a benefit. So later tonight I'll check out the link you provided.

I'd like to share that I play on, Betonline. I withdrew thousands three times without a glitch. I requested Bitcoin on Sunday at noon. My winnings was in my crypto wallet in less than half hour. It took until Tuesday before noon to have my bitcoins sold & the USD, to show up in my bank account.

I filed to disputes. You can read about those on a post.

Anyway. Go make you own luck!

Cheers

I would never consider taking my life. It's such a selfish thing to do. I love myself to much. I love my wife, 3 children, 2 daughter in-laws, 3 grandchildren, 5 sisters, & all of my nieces, nephews & their children.

Only once I thought about doing that. In 1986, I was 27 years old & 9 years into my job a the largest Ford Dealership in the state. I was hired on August `16, 1977. The day Elvis Presley passed. It was my first job. I was the service dept. shop janitor, earning $2.65 an hour. After 8 months of cleaning powertrain fluid, coolant spills, & emptying 15, 55 gallon trash barrels. I was gonna resign. The day I was to give my 2 week notice, the service lot porter/ attendant was fired. He was sneaking rentals out after work & back in before work. He opened & closed the shop. He was caught when he was drinking & crashed the car. His job was to clear the service drive of cars coming in for service & repairs & maintaining the area where those cars were parked. He also brought the cars to the customer when picking up their cars. I was given that job until a replacement was found. Replacement was found? I thought that this replacement was gonna be for my janitor job. Back then Ford cars were P.O.S. Service Advisors were quiting left & right due to the stress of new car buyers complaining of problems with their cars. About a year an Advisor quit on the spot without notice. I was called to my managers office & was offered the Advisors job as a trainee. I had to think about it. The customers were vicious, I was 19 & didn't know if I would be able to handle the stress that the Advisors got everyday. I asked my dad if I should take the promotion. He said, "I'm not gonna tell you to accept it or not" I was pissed, but he continued with, all I'm gonna say is that, you can never be satisfied where you stand in life, you must always be learning & bettering your lot in life. Do you wanna be a lot attendant all your life? My manager said the same thing about being a lot attendant. I accepted the job. Eventually the Advisors before me had left. I was receiving many glowing customer surveys as I moved into the top 20 of advisors in our District of over 250 Dealerships.

As time went on, the owner had opened 7 other dealerships. It was then coming up on my 9th year that my Manager was gonna become the Service Director overseeing all of the other Dealerships. That's when I was offered the position as Service Manager of the largest Ford dealership in the state. There were 33 people in the department. 24 Technicians, 4 Advisors, 3 shop attendants, my secretary, & Warranty Clerk..

I was 27 years old. Started at 18, earning $2.65 an hour & 9 years later, Manager earning $70K a year. Almost all of the Techs were still there when I started cleaning their stalls.

I, in just doing the best job that I could. Doubled the net profit, increased our customer CSI, Customer Satisfaction Index, from 5 to10, As well as several other benchmarks earning me the Bronze Managers Medallion award for Excellence in Service Management. In the 14 years the dealership has been in business no other service manager had received the award.

My manager who became the director wasn't as happy as I was. Doing better than him wasn't even on my mind. I didn't' even know the numbers of the dept. It was only after both the Ford & Isuzu district reps brought to my attention the dismal numbers of the dept.

Long story this has become. My manager had accused me of misappropriation of funds, not true, & after 2 years at the helm, I was fired. My life was turned upside down. This was the first time I thought about taking my life, but as bad as things have gotten, I still loved life. I remembered a sentence from a PMA book I read years before. It said, "With every adversity, comes the seed of an equal or better benefit" Also "Winners never quit, & quitters never win." The next 6 years proved to be difficult, that ended up with me going along with a cousins husband with robbing a bank. That's right. I'm a convicted bank robber. Got 52 months in Federal Prison, based on the Federal Sentencing Guideline, for a first time offender. The irony of this is, that the only time I had procured the most money at a once was robbing the bank, & more winning at roulette & I can say that I'm better at roulette than bank robbery. LOL Go make your own luck! Cheers!

Wow! You have a very busy life. And by the way, I want to note that you are a good storyteller. From what you've said about yourself, I would never have thought you were a bank robber. Shock. Moreover, you spoke about the analytical mindset. You must have been in despair if you decided to do this.

Yeah, you can post updates of your life, for this you can even create a separate topic "Life stories and roulette tips from Lopaka59" 🙂🙂

Hi Guys,

If you think you can win at gambling and are convinced that you have a ‘system’ then I’m afraid that you are totally in denial.

Yes wins are possible, as I know too well. But the moment that you think that you believe you have found a winning formula, then you have lost control of all your senses!

Im not too sure that this post in this section of the forum is going to help anyone who is struggling with gambling addiction. The mention of certain casinos and the amount you ‘won’ would probably be better received in the general discussion section.

If any of you are genuinely struggling to make sense of your actions then I think a discussion around the thread subject would be more beneficial for you.

It isn’t about how much we have won and how much we think we could win. It is about understanding why we put ourselves through this shit time after time before we realise that we shouldn’t be doing it.

Anyway, just my opinion on this thread. Feel free to reach out if you want to chat more about beating the addiction.

Take care,

Charlie

Thank you Charlie for your thoughts/advice about the effects of gambling. What usually happens to almost everyone who gambles, is why I didn't do it throughout my life until late last year. I'm 64. I played demo roulette for about a year testing hundreds of systems I saw on YouTube, many with modifications of my own.

I can say that I haven't become addicted, yet, I'm not compulsively committed to the act of gambling, as I am to logistically dissecting systems for it's strengths & weaknesses through demo play.

My opinion about people who were destroyed by gambling, is they didn't understand what it can do to them. Didn't know the weaknesses of their game of choice. Lacked a specific win goal & more importantly a stop/loss goal, & the proper bankroll needed. Yet, even with that, success wouldn't have a chance without discipline & patience. Which is my weakness that I have identified & working on, I came up with a mantra,

Be Disciplined, be Smart, Stay Focused, Play without Emotions, & Don't be Greedy.

I have proven to myself that I can win. On December 8th last year, I started with $611 & on January 31st, I had a net profit of $17964 I have nothing else to prove to myself & to friends who said I would fail from the start.

My plan going forward is, with a $3000 bankroll, win $100 a day for the first 30 days, That's $3000 a month. $4785 with my pension. You see I have many systems that wins $100 between 1 to 3 spins. What is needed is a good sized bankroll. $3000 will suffice. After that, my goal is 2 sessions a day with a $100 goal for each session. $6000, $7785 with pension. My 3rd & final goal is three $100 sessions a day. $9000, $10785 with pension.

In my opinion winning small increments is the ticket for making this happen. I have no doubts that I will succeed. With my mantra, "Be Disciplined, be Smart, Stay Focused, Play without Emotions, & Don't be Greedy" It's money in the bank. Go make your own luck!

Cheers. Rob
