Hello there. It feels to me that the biggest disappointment comes from the fact that your personal experience doesn't match what you expected based on our rating. I can genuinely understand why that feels frustrating.
That said, I'd like to add a bit of practical context because I think it also answers your question about the rating itself.
Our Safety Index isn't based on individual experiences, positive or negative. It reflects many different factors, including how a casino behaves over time. One of the main ways players can help us identify problems is by submitting a complaint.
The reason our Complaint Resolution Center exists is to give every player the opportunity to demonstrate, with evidence, that a casino has acted unfairly. However, we can only investigate situations that fall within the scope of what we objectively can assess. That scope is publicly explained on our website.
If a complaint shows that a casino refuses to pay legitimate winnings, applies its terms unfairly, or repeatedly engages in practices that are demonstrably harmful to players, that absolutely affects the casino's Safety Index.
At the same time, it's worth mentioning that an individual experience and a casino's overall rating often don't correspond. That's simply because the rating isn't intended to predict the outcome of every single player's experience.
I completely understand where your personal threshold for calling a casino a scam begins. From our perspective, however, that term is reserved for casinos that systematically refuse to pay legitimate winnings or otherwise engage in demonstrably unfair practices. That's the context in which our Safety Index should be understood.
