Dear Casino Guru Complaints Team,
I am submitting this complaint against BookOfCasino regarding its failure to act on my written requests to close my account due to gambling addiction.
I first contacted the casino on 15 March 2024 at [email protected], explicitly requesting account closure because of my gambling problem. On 7 May 2024, I sent another written request stating clearly that I wanted my account closed due to gambling addiction.
Despite these explicit written disclosures, my account remained active and I continued gambling and making deposits. I also repeatedly requested to be blocked through the casino’s live chat.
My concern is not simply that I requested account closure. I explicitly informed the casino that I was experiencing gambling addiction, yet I was apparently allowed to continue playing for an extended period after these communications.
I believe this raises serious questions about how the casino handled my requests and whether it took adequate and timely measures to prevent further gambling-related harm.
I am requesting Casino Guru’s assistance in investigating this matter and assessing whether BookOfCasino should refund the deposits made after my first documented request, or at least after the casino was explicitly informed of my gambling addiction.
I am currently requesting my complete account history, including deposits, withdrawals and gaming transactions, in order to calculate the exact amount in dispute. I will provide the available transaction records and supporting documentation.
I can provide copies of my emails dated 15 March 2024 and 7 May 2024, as well as further correspondence and any available evidence of my live-chat requests.
I would appreciate an independent assessment of the casino’s conduct, particularly in light of its knowledge of my gambling problem and the fact that my account remained active.
Thank you for your time and assistance.
