A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

From what I've read on here (back to 4 - 6 months), they rarely respond but still usually post refunds within 4 - 6 weeks. I reached out 3 weeks ago, now escalated to the CNB, I'll let you know if/when I get a refund from them.

Has anyone on here had any positive outcomes recently? I feel like all the merchants I have contacted have gone quiet. I currently have 2 chargebacks actively raised with Revolut who have said they are waiting for the merchant to respond. But still about 20+ that they won’t raise through Monzo and Revolut and I feel like the merchants have gone quiet. I am wondering if legal action is worth it? Or am I wasting my time. I’m not positive of anything, bear in santeda let me deposit £15k + in one day even using my credit card. There is no due care in that, and yes I know I’m myself to blame, but as many as you it is something you can’t help at the time…

You’re absolutely right to be concerned. When a merchant goes silent, it’s a serious red flag. If they don’t respond to your chargeback or any communication, it’s definitely worth reporting them to every possible state authority not only the bank or card issuer, but also financial regulators, consumer protection offices, and anti-money-laundering units in their country of registration. Silence often means they’re trying to avoid accountability, and official complaints can trigger an investigation or at least make them react faster. Stay persistent.Revolut and Monzo will usually act more seriously once there’s an open report against the merchant.

I’ve had success in the last 5 payment processors I’ve contacted. Very rare they don’t respond or accept responsibility in my experience. But also I haven’t spent nearly the amount others have on gambling, so it may be easier for me to get the modest amounts back.

It’s worth adding that payment processors actually face much greater regulatory risk if they ignore or mishandle suspicious flows: AML/KYC rules force them to investigate, file suspicious activity reports, and failures can lead to heavy fines, licence suspension/revocation and serious reputational damage , because large or repeated gambling-related payouts to risky recipients raise red flags, processors often prefer to cooperate or make refunds to limit their exposure. Outcomes still vary by case and amounts, but that regulatory pressure works in our favour.

Very true. Also why it's important to actually follow through and report the companies if they ignore you or pass blame.

That’s exactly why my team and I fight every day for a better future-to finally put an end to lawlessness and to stop these people from laughing in everyone’s face.

Did you get a contact for NIKO TPF or dsolpay?

πριν από 3 μήνες

Niko told me to raise charge backs and they would agree to refund but revolut had already declined so cant do anything. Dsolpay (swipez) refunded me in full i think it was the same day. I think they are slow replying to everyone just now as there seems to be alot of people asking for refunds.

How did you get on with yappily

Cocohibs1
πριν από 3 μήνες

dsolpay refunded me really quick while the other say is not their responsibility. Basically here guys what we have to do is to do a class action. First this illegal sites must be not usable by people where illegal. This in terms of reachability I f the site, of country of sign up and in terms of payment. You know much is scam revolut?they provide a platform payment to illegal sites called revolut bank transfer . So tell me how much partner in scam and in illegality you are ?this manage directly wire transfer from you revolut account to bank account or of merchants who clean money for illegal sites. So there is the illegal site , revolut as partner the same as the merchant in the middle and the bank who receives the transfer and all of this without any check on aml. And revolut have been already fined for 3,5 mln euro in Lituania.
