A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

I just wanted to point out a couple of things to help clarify lots of questions.

Monzo’s chargeback process (along with a few others) automatically raises chargebacks when you submit them, even before Monzo review. They then usually review and cancel them but that is why some merchants refund, because the chargeback request is started and goes to them before then being cancelled again.

mastercard have no functionality for chargebacks relating to gambling, it is clearly in their Ts & Cs. However, with Visa cards it isn’t as clear cut and you can sometimes raise chargebacks being completely honest with your bank but under miscoding rules - this doesn’t work with Mastercard. It’s therefore important to understand the differences between the types of cards you are using when attempting chargebacks.

I would argue that it's not gambling when there is zero chance of withdrawing any money, the slots are copies running off of weird servers. At that point, it becomes fraud.

Mastercard need to be held to account over this. Due to their terminology and certain banks dogmatic interpretation of the rules, they are preventing fraud victims from getting their money back.

I have comms from both the PSR and Mastercard themselves that state it's up to the bank to interpret the rules in the best interest of the customer getting their money back, but some of them still refuse to budge. Starling, in particular.

I don’t disagree with you but that isn’t the point. To claim fraud you have to be able to argue that you either didn’t send the money to the casino yourself or were coerced into doing so. Those are the rules in the uk so until the law is changed that is the situation.

Hi, I’m trying to get in touch with Lesski, Zenski, Temdot, Quedot or Quecs2, but I haven’t been able to get any useful contact details through XPate.

Does anyone have direct contact information for any of these merchants, such as an email address or website?

Which merchants actually refunded you after the Monzo disputes were declined?

Did the refunds come back under the same merchant descriptors, or under different company names/payment processors?

Also, did Monzo ever explain why they declined the disputes, or was it just a generic rejection?

Thank you for your request concerning access to your personal data.

We would like to clarify that Cardaq Limited acts exclusively as a technical infrastructure provider supporting payment processing systems. We do not act as a data controller and do not independently collect, store, or process personal data related to individual transactions. Therefore, we are unable to fulfill your request.

If you have concerns regarding a specific transaction, we recommend contacting your card issuer (the bank that issued your payment card). Your card issuer can provide you with transaction details available to them and, if necessary, liaise with the relevant parties involved in processing the transaction.

We trust this clarifies our position and provides you with the necessary guidance to obtain the information you seek.

No it doesn’t give me any info ffs

Its privacy policy: "Cardaq Limited is the controller and responsible for your personal data." The policy lists payment card details and "Transaction Data" among the data it processes. It names a data protection officer, [email protected], and says it keeps customer transaction data for six years.

Its website: It describes itself as an FCA-regulated e-money institution (FRN 900088) providing "issuing, acquiring, and processing solutions". That's an acquirer, not just a "technical infrastructure provider".

Its legal duties: As a regulated firm, it has to keep transaction records under the Money Laundering Regulations. "We don't store personal data related to individual transactions" is very hard to square with that.

They can’t do that mate, go back to them.
