Can't say it made my life any better that's for sure, I'm addicted and have problems but if you seek help I'm sure there are organisations in your country that my be able to help you understand why you are addicted and offer solutions to make you quit or at least gamble within your means without it affecting your mental health. I've been trying to quit for a long time now I put a designated amount of money I'm willing to lose without it affecting me and if I win I put it towards a holiday. I'm sorry to hear you have such problems as I used to spend every thing I had playing slots because of boredom the buzz and lack of self control because I got addicted now I'm learning Spanish as a replacement and enjoy it more than gambling.
