So I created an account at EGB.com, no IP block, could select my country & play. I deposited about 1000€ and made some money over months playing there. Never did I encounter any issues when playing on and off. I also never used a VPN to mask my location, yet all worked fine.
In May I wanted to withdraw and I was greeted with "withdrawals locked, contact support email" Kinda weird so I did that. This e-mail always takes ages to reply, but when they did they asked me to send KYC documents, which I did, then they asked for even more annoying stuff like a selfie with a written note, which I all provided. Then they told me they sent it to security and I should wait. But little did I know I was going to be in for a long wait.
Almost a month later after reaching out multiple times they replied to me telling me my account was suspended (I can not log in anymore now) because it's from a prohibited region (Germany) and also accused me of automated patterns (??) which is just purely a fabrication.
I never tried to hide my location, even here on Casinoguru it says players from Germany are allowed. They let me sign up, deposit and play but use this hidden information in their TOS as a justification to scam. And I can imagine that them not allowing German customers is new, because usually I check ToS before I play. Regardless shady practices and just a method to scam players.
After receiving this information I was willing to cooperate & leave the site but never did I receive another reply ever again. They ignore me for a month and probably wont even let me recoup my deposit let alone my balance. Online support (chat) is useless and always tell me to email them (support) but they never reply. Also direct replies to the mail from security stay unanswered. Just an endless back and forth.
I think it's outrageous casinos let people sign up (that don't mask their IP or anything) from allegedly "prohibited countries" and let them play just to keep their money if they win or not do anything is they lose.
I gave them all the time in the world to reply to me to find a solution but nothing...
Never play there!!! If they want to keep your money they will find a reason to. And no clue what the hell they mean with automation, just a pure made up LIE to make me come across as some scammer. Bullsh*t!!!
We always believe that if a casino lets players deposit and play, they should pay them as well. And especially if a player is not hiding anything and does not use a VPN, as you said.

They close my account, I can’t log in, support said to wait answer on mail that never comes ofc, same as mails for kyc. No doubt that casino is scam.

didnt tell me any reason, cause said that will give me answer hia mail and since then past 20+ days, they won’t send it for sure, cause also when I sent all rewuested documents for kyc they never answered, only when asked new documents and I sent all that requested and after that no answer for kore than one month and one day when wanted to log in account was closed.
i wont make complaint cause there I didn’t play casino, only bet 1-2 games on sports betting.
Sure, that's too bad, I was going to suggest this process because if the casino didn't solve it, then they would get black points. However if it is about sports betting we can't do nothing.
If you haven't heard back from them in so long even for verification, I don't see it rosy. Then they closed your account without giving you a reason, so we can only speculate what was behind it.
From this point of view, I would definitely say that the casino should work on the communication with the players and I can only wish you that I hope this will not happen anymore.

my complaint remained unresolved. EGB claimed many lies and failed to provide any evidence. So never play/deposit here. They are willing to scam you shamelessly!!!

It's a shame it couldn't be resolved, I thought it wasn't that complicated.
Unfortunately, situations like this happen in life, and the casino will have a lower safety index, which is at least some consolation in that other players will probably be more careful.
