As for the second part, the addiction, I feel sorry when I hear or see someone getting into it. But I think there is always a way out if you really want it and have the right people around you. You wrote about alcohol addiction, and I know what that can do, because I've seen people like that around me. But I suppose you are long past that and are now living an orderly and happy life. I agree that overall addiction is hard to stop and it takes a lot of willpower. Even an addiction to gambling can be very unpleasant.

Yes your right Jaro any information is great also to help anyone with gambling problems as for me I stay strong I cut back alot maybe gamble 3 times a week if that and spend $150 dollars so that is really good for me that's less then a $1000 a month considering I was spending $15,000 to 18,000 every three months. There is a lot of people out there in denial and ashamed at what they do but won't ask for help.

Hi, I'm glad you managed to mitigate the gambling situation. I'm sure even small steps are positive and maybe one day you'll stop completely because you'll tell yourself that there are better things to spend your money on.
As for the fact that a lot of people are ashamed, I would give you credit for that. It's not pleasant if you have to admit it, but I think that's where it all starts, because you have to realize if you have a problem and try to solve it even if it's not comfortable. If this is neglected it can only have more negative consequences in the future.
