As I said, you can file a complaint with us if you want to close your account and the casino is not helping you. 

Of course, what you are saying could be dangerous, and it certainly cannot be that way. However, if a player says they just want to close their account, the casino can often persuade them to stay with bonuses. It's not the same as when a player says they want to self-exclude or are addicted. These are different things and should be viewed as such.

It also occurred to me that if you receive emails from them, can't you block them in your email so that you don't receive messages from them?

As for whether this should be visible, you don't need to worry. The casino has been penalized, and your complaint is visible, along with the fact that the casino didn't respond. I think this can serve as a warning to other players.

With new casinos, it’s pretty hard to tell how they’ll behave, but this certainly isn’t how we’d like things to be handled—or how players would like situations to be resolved. 😕
