First of all, please do not share links like this on the forum, as this is not permitted. I would rather not have to take any further action over similar posts in the future, so I hope we understand each other.
As for what you described, it does not really sound like cheating or anything prohibited to me. I probably would not have used "cheating" in the thread title either. If someone genuinely tries to manipulate or circumvent a casino’s systems, whether in slots or sports betting, the casino will usually detect it sooner or later, which may result in the player losing their winnings or balance. I would therefore never recommend trying to bypass a casino’s rules. However, I do not think that simply betting on underdogs, as you described, falls into this category.
I occasionally bet on sports myself, so I understand your point. Underdogs can sometimes be offered at very high odds, while other matches may be priced more evenly. This can depend on many factors, such as whether a team is playing away or missing an important player.
The Champions League is a good example because unexpected results, including draws and underdog victories, happen quite regularly. In the Inter–Club Brugge match you mentioned, the odds for the away team were above 10. Betting on an underdog that you genuinely believe has a chance of winning can therefore pay off. It will not happen often, of course, but it is certainly not impossible.
