Question about Gambling websites with Curaçao license using incorrect Merchant Category code (σελίδα 715)

i sent mine over yesterday as I didn’t put them in the original email I sent on the 27th - hopefully they reply a bit quicker this time

I had one of my casinos ask for transaction details and a whole load of other stuff in order to be able to process a refund, I sent it over and was told to allow up to 15 business days, that was the beginning of April, it's been radio silence I've sent them 3 emails and nothing. Hope yous are luckier!

i had an account closed with a certain website and contacted them, they actually opened my account and credited it with £250 wagerless funds to withdraw, I had to verify my account first though, of course 1 document wouldn’t actually load on the site, online support is permanently offline and the email I was previously corresponding with is bouncing back! I doubt I will ever get that money just really shows how awful these people and sites are!

Has anyone had any dealings with Monzo regarding disputes… how long do they usually take to process them, do they usually temporarily refund you or do you need to wait for the 35 days to elapse?

Monzo don't touch them in my experience.

I’ve managed to them to raise Subral - it’s only £75 in total so not a huge amount but they have accepted the case on the 5th so I’m hopeful

What did you tell them because as soon as I mentioned gambling they refused saying no way of claiming the money back under MasterCard rules.

I didn’t mention gambling at all - I said it was for goods and services not received for digital goods. Had an email I sent to the company stating I had not received anything and they accepted it

I've not been successful with any of my banks they always want more evidence I must be doing something wrong I've tried mentioning and not mentioning and still no good.

The Trouble is with one of mine it's onlinedg and I can't find who they are or what they sell so I can't show them that I've contacted them 😞

Pop your email in and I can send some information over for you. They don’t refund however it will help you to be able to go to your bank and dispute it

Monzo are weird, it seems to depend on what time of day you send the chargeback and who actually deals with it. I had complete success with one Merchant through Monzo (last month) and then the next one they refused to help so I have registered complaint with FOS. However, I've raised a few with them over the last couple of days (with another different Merchant) and Monzo have refunded the one's I've charged back - go figure 😕

I always seemed to have quicker/better success when I sent chargebacks between 9 am - 14 pm.

Did they credit your account straight away or did you have to wait a few days for them to do so?

this is what I get back from TSB, I have given them as much evidence as possible and just been told they can’t do anything and they also don’t see the sites using third party sites with different MCC codes as illegal
