i think i did mine in october,

and then didnt get a reply until last week december and they said for me to reply to them by 6th jan so presume they said the same to my bank so hopefully i will hear back in jan with outcome

Hi everyone

I've been following this thread for a good few weeks and now looking to try myself after relapsing.

I'm a problem gambler and after 3 years on gamcare I came across a gamcare free site and have relapsed badly. Neither monzo or nationwide have picked anything up despite spending 1000s on separate transactions to random overseas sites.

When I looked closer some of the transactions are for paragliding in Switzerland and a cannabis shop!

Please can someone advise which is the way to go as muddled reading from the beginning of the thread. Is the route via the companies on our statements or with the casino's? Or the bank.

Any guidance would be appreciated so I can hopefully get some money back.

Ok fair play there is not much more I can do really get the chargebacks raised as incorrect mcc by the bank and you get it back bud there is no magic secret I was open and honest with the bank and am working hard on my gambling recovery with gamcare they know I have a bad problem and these crooks are preying on me and they have given me a bank gambling advisor

im hopeful of refunds, got a live case with the ombudsman that against MBNA Credit Card, more for them not protecting me and letting me spaff all my money on betting.


i have cases with my Barclays debit card, not for chargeback but I’ve disputed the transactions claiming I’m not happy with the service and the goods were not recieved as let’s have it right these sites have had us off.


any help appreciated
