I'd say from the short-term period, the traffic and income of online casinos will go up, but after few months, when the financial crisis will come (and it will come), some players will probably leave casinos to save money or they'll simply gamble less since they'll have less money to spend.

The future of gambling is not gonna be much affected by this...people will gamble anyway... i see all of them gets Esport games in offer, and even live cs, lol , or dota games...even some amateur football
casinos / well if u gonna win some money the time is now, everyone gamble online these days, so there is automatically bigger chance to win /more money circulate..

The gambling activity will increase for sure since there's more people in their houses and more free time. About the financial crisis, that's for sure but id like to add that many people will look to work online or create online business in order to survive the crisis. It's just about time.

Yes, 100 and more is normal at least in Malta. Of course, there could be casinos with only few employees, but usually when you see a casino that has a live chat available in multiple languages 24/7, you need quite a lot of people for the customer support to cover all the shifts and languages, not speaking about payments and fraud departments, customer retention, marketing, casino departments (they test and implement new games from providers), copywriters, affiliates, VIP account managers, outbound department, internal IT, operations, legal department, HR etc. There can be a lot of people involved if you want to do it properly.

Your assumption makes sense, but I honestly don't think that this is going to happen. When the corona crisis came, many only casinos increased their income by 30-40 %. The gambling business has always been here, even in ancient Greek.

This summer online gambling becomes legal here in Germany. The loophole using a Malta license won't work anymore. And the conditions to get a gambling license in Germany are very hard for operators. Like financial backup not less than a number with 7 zeros. Maybe Europe or other countries follow
